RE: Competition Day – 1/21/06
This is it, the final mass e-mail before the Competition this Saturday!!!! It’s been a very hectic and overwhelming week since our meeting held last Tuesday, but we’ve all pulled together to make this event happen. I would like to thank everyone once again for volunteering!!!! In addition special thanks to those that did the food runs at Costco, offered suggestions to help make the event even better, and overall being upbeat, positive, and offering words of encouragement!!! It truly indeed helped me and George do a final push to get the preparations done for this event.
But at last, we are not done until the event official ends on Saturday! I’m not going to lie, but Saturday is going to be a very hectic, emotional and overall a crazy day for all of us. So be prepared!!!!
· Please find attached the final parent/staff volunteer list, baking list, and student escort list. It is in PDF format.
o You will receive a “competition day packet”, just like at the pre-competition meeting.
· We need 2 more walkie talkies. We currently have 6, and I’m afraid that may not be enough. If anyone has any, please e-mail me before I buy them Friday evening.
· Attire: So we all look the same (students and parents), everyone is to where a maroon shirt and jeans (no rips-please!).
o I believe George and myself will be wearing a maroon shirt and beige pants. NHS Staff can do the same.
· Name Tags: Volunteers will be wearing name badges with “NHS Music Volunteer” on them. Student Escorts: “NHS Music Student Escort”
